Announcement: We will be moving to the Peterborough, NH area July 2008. I have loved serving the Lowcountry of South Carolina and look forward to bringing my services to Southern New Hampshire, SE Vermont, and Northern Massachusetts. My name is Lynn Grabowski and I am a doula and breastfeeding counselor in the Summerville, Ladson and Goose Creek area of South Carolina. (I do occasionally travel throughout the Low-Country area as well.) Currently I will not be accepting new mothers who are due between October 1st, 2007 and May 31st 2008. Our third child was born at home December 29th at 6:31am into my husbands hands and we are taking some time for maternity leave. If you are due June 1st or later I would be happy to talk with you about being your doula.
Please keep looking at the site for upcoming events. I am working on getting certified as a childbirth educator, focusing on autonomous birth and parenting. I'm also hoping to present a 4th trimester post partum preparation class as well. If you are interested in either of these courses please contact me for more information.
