I am Rasel from Bangladesh. 

Currently I am a PhD student in the Graduate School of Medicine, Dentisrtry, and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Okayama University, Japan under the supervision of Professor Keinosuke Okamoto. I am expecting to obtain my doctorate degree by September 2008. My present research focused on extracellular enzymes produced by the bacterium Aeromonas sobria (the causative agent of both intestinal and extraintestinal diseases) .

Previously I obtained my BSc (Honors) and MSc degrees in Microbiology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I learned many basic and advanced molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, and tissue culture related techniques and gathered experience in different fields of biological science.

Future plan:

I want to develop my career in academia.

I am expecting to obtain my doctorate degree by September 2008.

At the moment I am looking for a postdoctoral/faculty position.

As I am a person with a can do attitude and have keen interest in research and teaching as well as have previous experience in different fields of biological science, I am very much confident that with my hard work and dedication to science, I will be successful in any field if I obtain an opportunity.
