Hi My name is Amy I am 16 years old and Live in Dunedin New Zealand.
My Goal is to improve the temprement and Health in rats for NZ including working with pedigree's and recording all important data from my matings.
I also strive to improve the DU and Varigated Lines so they can be enjoyed even more without having to worry about Temprement or Health Issues.

All my rats have hourly play time everyday, socialising in same sex groups.
All my litters will be planned carefully, making sure I match the right Buck and Doe together to create a great litter!

What You Will Recieve For Purchasing A Rat From Rascally Ratties Rattery   Our babies are handled from day 1 to help socialize them and make them better pets. We try to handle them as often as possible and get them aquainted to other animals, people, foods, etc. All of our babies will have a complementary grooming before they leave here if the new owners would like them too. They will be bathed in pet-friendly, tearless, baby shampoo especially formluated for small animals! With your rat purchase, you will also recieve a pet rat guide, prepared by Ratclub.org -The Kiwi Rat Resource.  This pamphlet includes information on Diet, Housing, Handling and play, Rat facts, General health care for your new pet rat and much more. We'll also provide you with a small sample of feed, to help your babies get accostumed to their new diets.

POLICY

If there are any rats you may be interested in, please e-mail right away. I promptly return all e-mails and give out further information on any of the rats I have available.

I will only sell rats in lots of 2 or more, unless you already have another rat for company as they are very social animals!
The rats are sold as PETS ONLY , Unless you are an established breeder that knows what you are doing, and I agree with your practices.

If you are interested in putting your name on a list for future contact when the litter arrives or if you would like to reserve a baby that is already born please email me.
You can reserve a baby rat as early as you like.

Baby rats will leave our residence no earlier than 6 weeks of age as a general rule. Whether we decide to keep them longer is our choice as the health & temprement of our babies is our primary concern.
