Flutter

Poetry Journal

Dear Friends & Poets,

Welcome to the March 2009 (Volume 4 Issue 3) issue of Flutter.  Here in Cheyenne, it is still very much Winter, with chilly winds and the occasional snow storm which coats the golden plains with its white fury.  The introspective Winter photos contributed by a past Flutter poet, Pat St. Pierre, fit perfectly with the season.  This month, we welcome poets with various backgrounds:  a house-hubby from down under, a private tutor from Oregon, a poet from Michigan, a social activist from Brooklyn, New York, a volunteer musician from New Jersey, a senior from Western Kentucky University, a Floridian, a 2008 Pushcart Prize Nominee, and a person whose one salvation is writing poetry.  Grab a sweater, a hot cup of cocoa, and stay awhile...won't you?

Keep fluttering,

Sandy Benitez
