YuleTronic
The YuleTronic plays 3 different Christmas carols:
- Jingle Bells
- Silent Night
- Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
There are two LEDs, red and green built into the orb that flash in time with the songs. The sound output is from a build in speaker fitted to the top of the orb and gives a LoFi type sound. The heart of the YuleTronic is a 08M Picaxe micro-controller which runs the speaker and lights.
The base plate is made from wood and polished with beeswax. The dome is made from plastic.
