This item is a small very simple analog synthesizer.
Its capable of making lots of different oscillator based sounds and I have used it in quite a few recordings.
If you want to use it for recording it's got a 1/4in socket for direct connection to your amplifier, mixer or computer for recording.
How it works:
Its a very simple circuit that uses 2 IC's. It uses 1 IC to make 2 oscillators which can be modulated. Another IC is made into a cutoff filter, the "pre" switch determines how the cutoff filter works and the filter switch turns the filter on and off. This item runs off a 9volt battery and the components are all on a single sided circuit board. The case is made from an old wooden shortbread box.
