Welcome to the official website of the Rincon University High School Ranger DanceLine. The Ranger Dancers are an auxiliary unit of the Rincon University HS Marching Band. During football season the ladies perform with the band at all football games, parades, pep assembles and competitions. They dance on the sidelines as well as perform several flag routines during the halftime show. During the spring season the ladies as well as some people from the band compete in about four winterguard competitions, a pom dance competition, perform with the marching band in the Rodeo Parade, hold tryouts, and perform at the Arts Under the Stars performance. During the summer the ladies do not get a break. They are busy having car washes to raise money for dance and band camp. They also have weekly practices to prepare themselves for the upcoming season.

Each member of the Ranger Danceline has committed to a financial responsibility. Each girl will spend around $500 each to be on the Danceline. Our fundraising goal is to reach $8,000 by the end of summer. To raise this money the captains and staff have planned the following fundraisers.

*Danceline ~ Remember you DON'T have to pay all of the costs out of pocket if you ACTIVELY participate in ALL Fundraisers. Also, be sure to check out the fundraisers sponsored by RUMBA on the Ranger Band Website. Most funds earned will go into your IMF accounts.

The following is a list of the items that will be purchased by the Ranger Dancers:

Shoes:   

    White Award Rehearsal Dance Sneakers: $18.00 & Balck jazz shoes - no laces

     If you do not have black canvas dance sneakers please get those - we will be using them for competitions and possibly a few games.

Warm-Ups: We will be ordering warm-ups from a company called Just For kix. They are going to be black and white and posibly purple embroidery.

Shorts: Dark purple Soffe shorts - purchase on your own at a sporting goods store.
