The Dufour 34 was introduced to the UK market in September 2003 and received phenomenal press coverage and described as the yacht with the best sailing performance to be released onto the UK market for a long time. In February 2004 the yacht also won the Boat of the Year in its class at the Dusseldorf Boat Show.
This yacht is now available for charter in the UK. Based at the prestigious Hamble Point Marina at the mouth of the Hamble River which has instant access to the Solent and some of the most sought after cruising grounds in England.
Safia has only been available for charter since August 2004 and offers excellent accommodation and superb performance. For those looking for trouble free fast passages Safia is easy to handle with wheel steering, furling jib and lazy jack combined with autopilot and chartplotter. For those looking for more excitement she also has a masthead spinnaker and is available for racing, subject to suitable qualifications for the skipper and crew. Alternatively for those seeking a hassle free cruise we can offer a skipper and/or crew to assist in the enjoyment.
