This tutorial is for Paint Shop Pro 8

First, choose the image you are going to work with and open it in paint shop pro 8.
I have chosen this one.

Now make a new image.  Make the width 3 pixels and the height 3 pixels.
Next, go to brushes, and set your settings like mine.

Zoom into your image and draw this pattern.

Go back to your main image.
Double-click on the foreground and select pattern at the top.

From the drop-down menu, select something that looks like this, then click okay.

Make a new layer, and flood fill the whole image with the little stripes.
then double-click on the layer, and set the opacity to 20 percent.
