My Guilty Pleasure (mostly not so guilty)
| Oh Jimmy. How could you leave your poor little girl all alone in the OC????? She was crying for you and you left anyway. We will miss you Jimmy. And hopefully you will be back. And Marissa will go off the deep end. Next week Julie bribes DJ to stop seeing Marissa. And Ryan and Lindsay get caught doin the deed. Ryan needs to watch out before someone else gets pregnant. I miss Ryan and Marissa together. At the end of this episode when the Cohens take her into their home, as they are apt to do, they sort of hug each other. Damn you writers!! They belong together. Lindsey's too...boring? And that confrontation between Julie and Marissa at Jimmy's going away party was spectacular. "I'm the daughter of a thief and a slut." Wow. She tells it like it is. And um, remember my old opinions on Kirsten and Jimmy hooking up? It'll happen. Especially after Sandy forgets his 20th anniversary. That's pretty bad. And, was Seth Cohen in top form this episode or what? Trying to be "stealth" and whatnot? Stealing cars, getting drunk, he's the regular bad boy. Taking all Ryan's glory as they switch places. Ryan is the studious good child, Seth is now the bad boy. Seth is the most talented individual on television. Hands down. And those stupid award shows keep leaving him out. Don't get me started on his lack of accolades. I really wanna watch all last season's episodes. Everyone I know got them for Christmas jeeeeeeeez. K bye. |

Happy/Merry Chrismakkuh!!!
| Well, this episode was hilarious. It really was quite funny, especially the part where Seth tried to make the official Chrismakkuh song to the tune of Death Cab for Cutie's "A Lack of Color," unfortunately, I was the only person in the room who had ever even heard that song so I freaked out all by myself. "Jeeesus and Moses...." Anywhoo, poor Lindsey and Kirsten. Their father SUCKS. Well, at least they've got each other now. I wonder what Hailey would say about this. Prolly something along the lines of "Go Dad!" I think Ryan and Lindsey are the CUTEST THING EVER. Screw Marissa. Oh, Alex is about to haha. If you saw the preview for the next 12 episodes, you know that January through March will be wild and crazy. But, only what we should expect in the OC. OH, and Jimmy and Julie, why am I the only person who likes them back together? Jimmy can't resist a powerful woman I guess. And Julie can't resist a well endowed man. Haha. Two meanings endowed...yaaa. Summer and Seth WILL hook up. Did you see how utterly excited she was that it was Chrismakkuh?? I mean, why not have I LOVE ALL THINGS SETH plastered to your forehead. Anyways, who know what the next year will bring for our OC crew. I know what it won't bring: no scandal. Haha I am officially an OC fanatic. |

Two Episodes in One Entry
| Ok, not to be a downer to Zack and Alex, but go the hell away. Or hook up with each other so Seth and Summer will be a couple once more. But, honestly, faithful readers of Orange County Update, whatever will become of our beloved OC!! Next episode, Julie and Jimmy get it on. Like, what the hell. Now that he has money again she wants him. Oh jeez. And I so called that Lindsey is Caleb's daughter. Soooo called it. Apparently, he cheated on Kirsten's mom when she was sick, at least that's what I've gathered. And we've all heard the rumors about Marissa, I'm hoping that will only be a subplot, because people are gonna stop watching the show for sure. I mean, Ryan and Marissa are the center of the show!! If they don't end up together, there is absolutely no hope for Summer and Seth. My baby is falling apart!!! And Teresa is still in the back of my mind. She will resurface soon, I can feel it. But, my friends, Chrismakkuh is coming, and on the preview, Summer kisses Seth on the cheek, but we all know the OC people suck and want us to think they're together. How much do you wanna bet that right before she does that they swear that they'll only be friends forever or something, not lovers. Ahhhh! Soo frustrating. This year is not going as planned for sure. I give up. I need a Chrismakkuh miracle. |

Season Two, Episode Three: The New Kids on the Block
Harrumph. Things are not going as planned. APPARENTLY, Seth and Summer are done for, bah, my life is over. I mean, Zack met Summer’s father??? And she looked happy. But we all know she isn’t. I mean, no Seth in your life?? That’s like, a day without Trigonometry. Marissa, so much for the Ryan thing. He’s got a new chick in his life. But, you can always hook up with Seth. HOOK UP WITH SETH??? No way, right? Uh, I think it’s coming, my friends. A Marissa and Seth hook up. The OC will never be the same. Kirsten is pissed at Caleb, as she should be. I mean, he gave the company to JuJu??? If I was Kiki, I would never forgive Caleb. And, speaking of Kirsten, I never thought her and Jimmy would end up having an affair, but I think they just might. Cause Hailey isn’t there anymore. It might not be soon, but it might eventually happen. I don’t like Lindsey. She’s too….Aggravating. I hate her more than Marissa. Ryan sure knows how to pick ‘em. Except for her lying, I kinda liked Teresa. He should’ve stuck with her. And she willlll be back, I can feel it. I’m waiting for Luke to come back too. I need to actually watch the theme song and see if he’s on it. The OC is falling apart. I need a good Summer/Seth make out session, and I need it NOW! Prediction: I already predicted some things, but I’m sick of my predictions, they don’t come true. |

Season Two, Episode Two: The Way We Were
So, another week of the OC has come and gone, and we find ourselves worse off than last week as far as relationships go. Hailey is leaving Jimmy, to work in Tokyo, Kirsten and Sandy are having problems because the boys were gone all summer, Julie doesn’t really love Caleb (big surprise there), Marissa has been secretly seeing Pool Boy, and Summer finally tells Seth what’s up. “You had me at Chrismakuh, when I wore the Wonderwoman costume, you had me last year, but you love the chase Cohen, you had your chance…” Or something to that effect. She’s still in love with him though. You can tell. And he loves her too. And if one of those new little hussies coming on the show steal his heart, I’m gonna be pissed cause Seth + Summer = 4eva. I can’t take all this drama. This episode was, however, one of my all-time favorites. It was ridiculously funny. And touching. And sad. Especially the look on Seth’s face when his Grandpa Nichols got arrested. Actually, he was kinda shocked. I don’t really understand why, Caleb was in all kindsa trouble but I’m still not sure exactly why, it deals with money though. Next week, the OC falls on my birthday. It shall be a good one I know. Prediction: Summer and Seth meet up again and fight again, because he was wearing the same thing in the preview for next week that he wore this episode. Ryan and Marissa: UH, NO: Ryan meets a new girl and spills coffee all over her haha. And Marissa drinks herself to death. Well, she won’t, but we can all dream. OH, and I think Caleb is gonna give the company to Julie Cooper Nichols. Or Ryan. We shall see. |
Hello. And welcome to the OC. Or at least my recap of what’s been going on over in Newport.
| Episode One, Season 2: The Distance: Seth, Seth, Seth. We knew you wouldn’t go too far away, Tahiti seemed a little extreme, Portland sounds more you. A whole lotta talk, no action. Well, not true. You’ve been getting action without Summer. Let me repeat that. Without Summer. Bastard. Who is this new blonde bimbo mushing all over you? I don’t even wanna know. Poor Summer. She even returned your London Calling album. And said goodbye to Captain Oats. Don’t let Princess Sparkle’s love die. What do you want from her, Cohen??? You just want her? Well, prove it. Ryan, jeez, you’re looking hotter than ever. But, ahem, Teresa was sooooo lying to you about the baby. Get a clue, Sherlock. Sandy and Caleb, all this secrecy about the family business and the DA is freaking me out. What is going on???? Everyone I’ve talked to is lost as far as that little subplot goes. And, uh, Marissa? Try not to freak out so often, it’s not your strong point. I’m also glad that Julie and Jimmy can have an intelligent conversation without fighting. Julie knows she let go of a good man for an old guy with money. Idiot. I personally can not wait for school to start next episode. It shall be intriguing, to say the least. Prediction: It’s Ryan’s baby for sure now. Marissa is gonna hook up with Pool Boy, and Summer and Seth WILL get back together, because they just have to. I command it, OC writers.
