So often I reflect on the experience Moses had when the children of Israel were in battle with Amalek. Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. Moses held the rod of God and as he lifted his hand Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. Of course his hands were tired, so the scripture says Aaron and Hur got him a stone to sit on and they held up his hands and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. (Ex. 17:10-13)
What does this mean for us today? This is an example as to how we are supposed to respond to our brothers and sisters in Christ. We MUST lift them up in prayer. There have been many times in my life when it was the prayers of the saints that carried me through. So, as you review the following list of names, keep in mind we may not be able to put specific situations with each name, but God knows exactly what ‘s going on in each life.

1/10 REQUEST: Please pray for Debbie Dailey, Pat Graham (my mom), David Graham (my Dad who was murdered), Christine Williams, my sister, David Graham, my brother, and Tim Graham, my brother. Also the Parole Board in Columbus Ohio
I am going to post her email here so you will better know how to pray:
To make a long story short, my father who was a good christian man was murdered in his business 23 years ago and the person who did it was caught and sentenced to 15 years to life (there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that this person committed the crime). Anyway, he had a very long record before he murdered my father and was only 25 when he did that and actually commited another heinous crime after murdering my father as he was not caught immediately.
He came up for parole the first time after serving 12 years of the sentence and my family and i fought it and did petitions, letters, etc., and he was given an additional 22 years which would have meant he would come up again for parole in 2019. Well, not because of some rule that changed he actually is up for parole again in March of 2007 and we just found out on January 6 that this is happening again even though we were told and it is in writing that he will be up for parole again until 2019.
This is so extremely hard on especiallyl my mom as it brings everything flooding back as if it had just happened yesterday instead of 23 years ago so to be totally honest that is the worst part of having to do this again, the toll it will take on her and on me and my siblings.
Would you please pray and put all of us on the prayer wall as well as the Parole Board in Columbus Ohio as there is just no way that we want this guy to ever walk the streets again. I would so much appreciate your prayers. We are meeting with the parole board on February 27, 2007 to tell them why the guy should not be released so we will need so much wisdom for that day and compassion on the part of the Parole Board that they will truly understand what this has done to us and to my mom.

ONGOING: REQUEST: Colton is now in juvenile hall! He is facing a larger sentence! His letters have expressed that he's reading his Bible! Please pray for this young man! He needs warriors to lift him up! UPDATE: Colton is now going to the boys ranch and has asked us to pray! Please continue to pray for this young man - the battle is great! UPDATE 9/17 Please keep Colton in your prayers! He is still incarcerated and doesn't have much to look forward too when he is free from the walls of jail! i know that God has not forgotten this young man!
7/10 REQUEST: Please pray for Bruce! He is addicted to crystal meth and desperately needs to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! UPDATE 9/17 Brus is now incarcerated! I am believing God that someone will cross his path and show him the incredible love of Christ!
7/10 REQUEST: Please pray for Laura that she comes to know Jesus in a way that breaks all of the bondage of religiosity in her life! God has stratigically placed certain people in her life - pray for the Holy Spirit to continue to direct and speak through those people - that Laura might see JESUS!!
