Acts 2:21
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
In this part of Acts there is a great description of what happened on the day of Pentecost. As this passage goes on there becomes a good account of what will happen when the Lord comes back. There will be wonders in heaven, signs in the earth beneath; blood, fire, and vapour of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood. This all happens before the great and notable day of the lord.
One can only imagine what these things mean. In truth, these things are happening today. There are wonders in heaven, (great storms, wild sunsets, and unexplainable phenomenon). There are signs beneath the earth that pour out blood, fire, and smoke, (Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Hurricanes that are killing thousands of people). Recently scientists have confirmed that are own sun is dimming at a faster rate than we once understood. Things are happening all over the earth that are bringing people to torment.
With all this happening, the Lord confirms that whosoever calls upon the name of the lord shall be saved. With all the fear happening in our current days, I cannot understand how people make it through without Jesus as their saviour. Jesus died on a cross and was raised three days later to save us from sin. As well, he saved us from fear. Current tragedies such as 9/11, the Virgina Tech Massacres, The Iraq War, and many others have brought fear into millions of people. With Jesus this fear is lifted. He will guide your life into the direction he needs you to go. Your life is not in vain with Jesus the seal of your heart. He stands waiting for you to call upon his name. He weeps for this world, ...and in the end he will prevail,.....he will succeed,......he will condemn,.....he will judge................, but whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord,...shall be saved.
