Who We Are
Founded in 1985, we are an inclusive group of homeschooling families based in Orange
County, CA. Our members vary in homeschooling styles, religions,
political views, family structures, and just about everything else. At
present our children range in ages from 1 to 17 years.
Our group has no membership fees. Activities are planned by any members
who propose them at our semi-annual planning meetings. Families are
encouraged to participate and contribute in whatever way they can. We do appreciate it when families make the effort to attend
regularly to facilitate the formation of meaningful and lasting
friendships.
What We Do
We meet on Thursdays, usually in and around North and Central Orange
County; for theme days, field trips, park days, support, and plenty of
socializing for both kids and adults. We usually go to a local park
after any field trips, and sometimes people who did not attended the
field trip will still join us at the park.
We have an optional monthly Mom's Night Out, where we see movies,
discuss a book we've recently read, or just have dinner and
conversation.
