The Dark Ages Living History Association Laws and Responsibilities
The Dark Ages Living History Association is a private group that is
governed by a council of Chieftains who will provide direction,
conduct, responsibility, accountability and laws by which the members
of said group will accountable. The group is actively seeking only
those members who truly wish to participate in re-enacting the daily
life of our time period thru re-enactments and encampments.
Laws:
1. Look presentable at all times.
2. Be social and accommodating to everyone.
3. Never loose control of ones self.
4. Be responsible when indulging.
5. Hostilities between members, hosts or gentles will not be tolerated.
6. Individuals will be held accountable for their own actions.
7. All disputes will be arbitrated before the council of
Chieftains, if they cannot be resolved between the involved parties.
Responsibilities:
1. The D.A.L.H.A. is not a dues collecting association. Funds
will be subscribed thru fund raisers in which all members will take
part.
2. Membership will provide a profile as soon as possible.
3. Membership within one year will be in proper garb as to their persona.
4. Each member will donate 10 days a year of their time of the betterment of the group in stead of dues.
5. New members will be subject to a probationary period of one
season as a Thrall in the encampments. At the beginning of the second
season they will then have the title of Freeman and must continue
learning as much as they can about their characters persona.
6. All members are responsible for providing their own garb and equipment.
Please note the council of Chieftains reserve the right to add or
change the laws, responsibilities and rules as they see fit and/or as the
circumstances arise.
