The intent of our group is...

A.     To provide a historically accurate and entertaining look at the dark ages with a large focus on the Scandinavian , Celtic, and other European peoples .

B.     To show the different cultures of the dark ages ,and point out there similarities.

C.     To show that the dark ages were not just a time of barbaric raiders , but a time of commerce and growing technology.

D.     To note the changes in the world from 450 A.D. to 1100 A.D. and how the common people of the time affected the middle age , the renaissance, and today. 





Our group can provide one or all of the following for your organization, school ,or event.

1.     An interactive living history encampment.

    Consisting of tents and hard structures depicting life in a new trading settlement. Guests can ask questions of all the actors and we can provide guided  tours if prearranged.  The encampment can be as small as a tent and two people or as large as our full settlement that will take at least ½ acre to set up and can have as many as 20 people living and working in it.



2.     Demonstrations  life skills of the time.

    Cooking, wood working , spinning, dying and weaving wool and flax , sewing, weapons usage / hand to hand training, archery, axe and spear throwing, shield wall, smiting , knife making, rope making, and the making of trade goods.
