HAFATRA

Ho any ianao, kanefa....
Aza ataonao fantany
'zao fahoriako izao.

Fa aoka hiafina aminy
ny ketoky ny jaly
nanempaka ny aiko, tanatin'ny longoa
izay namandrihany ahy...
ny dinitry ny foko manorika ahy mangina,

fa sempo-tsasak'alina
misaina ity anjarako,
Aza ataonao fantany !

...Raha manontany izy,
iangaviako ianao handainga indray mandeha !
Lazao fa nanadino ny momba azy rehetra
ny saiko manontolo.
"Rako-boninkazo hoe ireo lavenon-dasa
natoraky ny Adaoro"
Ireto diary ireto lazao fa efa may
sy tapitra efa kila...
....Fa ny volofotsiko,
ny ketrokentron' handriko*Afeno dia afeno !
Azonao izany ?

Etsy kely koa
hafarako ianao !
Jereo raha sambatra izy ! Mba hamantaranao
dia ireto no fambara :
"Ao an' efitranony: misy voninkazo
tsy maintsy mavokely...

Raha izay no hitanao dia efa sambatra izy
ka aza asiana resaka momba ahy akory,
f'izany rahateo no niriko ho azy...

Izay no hafatrafatro
ka tazony tsara ... Ary dia veloma !
Saingy etsy ange !
'Ty tànanao ity, aza akasi-javatra
mandra-pifandray ny tànanao sy ny azy...

Eny e ! Ampy izay. Tongava soa aman-tsara !
Dia akatony mora
io varavarako io
fa hitomany aho...

NE LUI DITES RIEN

 

Vous allez la voir, mais...

Qu’elle ne sache rien de ma peine

Elle ne doit rien savoir

Des cruelles morsures qui ont déchiré mon âme...

Dans les rêts qu’elle m’avait tendus,

Et de mon cœur en suée qui m’étouffe à minuit

Quand je songe à mon sort !

 

Si elle s’inquiert de moi,

Pour une fois mentez !

Dites-lui que mes pensées l’ont complètement oubliée

Et que les fleurs ont recouvert les cendres du passé

Brûlé pae les feux de la passion

Comme ces journaux intimes que vous voyez là.

Taisez ma vieillesse blanche et ridée.

M’avez-vous compris ?

 

J’ai encore quelque chose à vous demander :

Voyez si elle est heureuse.

Voici les signes qui vous aideront :

Il y a des fleurs, roses, sûrement,

Dans sa chambre et la photo de

Son amant à son chevet.

Si vous en voyez, c’est qu’elle est heureuse,

Alors, ne lui dites rien de moi 

Il lui est arrivé ce que je souhaitais pour elle.

N’oubliez rien de tout cela,

Et adieu !

 

Oh ! une dernière recommandation 

Ne touchez nulle chose de votre main-ci

Avant de serrer la sienne.

Oui…cela suffit. Bonne route

Et refermez doucement cette porte sur mes larmes. ..

MESSAGE

You will see her, but...

About cruel bites which tore my soul

In the trap which it had tightened at me...

And of my heart which suppresses me at midnight

When I think of my fate !

 

If she inquiert of me, for once lie !

Say that I completely forgot her

And flowers covered ashes of

Burned past as these newspapers which you see there.

Keep silent about my white and wrinkled old age.

 

Did you understand me ?

I have something to ask you again:

See if she is happy.

Here are the signs which will help you:

There are flowers, pink, certainly,

In the room and the photo of Her lover in the head.

If you see it, that means she is happy,

So, say to her nothing of me;

My wish came true for her.

Forget nothing,

And goodbye !

 

Oh ! A last recommendation;

Touch nothing of your hand

Before tightening her hand..

It is enough ! Safe journey

And close slowly this door on my tears...
