Radio Tircoed 106.5FM

Radio Tircoed is a community based radio station run entirely by volunteers.  The station is wholly funded by donations and grants and is a not-for-profit organisation.  The studio is located in Tircoed Forest Village which is situated in Swansea, Wales.

The station had a week-long run in the summer of 2005 and was met with great success, so it was decided to broadcast over the month of December 2005, in the hope of quenching the thirst of the local community for more!  A further broadcast took place for two weeks in July 2006 and for the month of December 2006.  The good news is that we will be back on air in 2008, so visit soon for updates!

The station is the brainchild of the Station Manager, Bob Walker, and thanks to Bob's efforts, we were awarded a Community Radio License on 13th February, 2007!  If you'd like further information, or would like to become involved, click here to email us with your comments.
