We are the Radio Heads, a group of pupils at Langley Park Boys School, Beckenham, Kent.

We meet regularly to build, operate and race Radio Control Models. It may be a car, a plane, a helicopter,  a hovercraft, or something that completely defies description, but if it's remotely controlled, and electrically powered, it's probably one of ours!

You will find us after school on a Friday, usually from 3.15  to 4.15 pm. We could be meeting in the Main Hall, or the Sports Hall, or building models in one of the Workshops, or even be outside if the weather and model is suitable. The club is not open entry, currently being restricted to Langley Park Boys School Year 7 pupils.

Notices placed in Class Registers inform us of events and significant dates, and these web pages will contain information, pictures, and some commentary on our progress.

We have initially decided to concentrate on 1/12th scale Radio Control Car Racing, using a nationally and internationally recognised single make restricted cost formula.   We'll be assembling the cars at home and at sessions after school. You will find more details on this in our pages here, which will be updated and extended from time to time.
