Radiomundo is an internet radio station for players of the browser based RPG called Popomundo.

The station is based "In Character" even those it is listened to by those
"Out of Character"

It has its own dedicated server which station DJs remote to on their timeslot and broadcast to the audience.

At the moment, the server has a limited listener capacity, but can increase depending on load and demand.

Radiomundo is not responsible for the content played or the licensing of songs, these fall to our independent DJs.

Radiomundo will be open to all music genres, with dedicated shows and DJs.

The server is based inside the UK and the station works on GMT.

You can take an interactive part in Radiomundo through a variety of ways.

DJ (currently recruiting)
To be a DJ you will need Winamp and the broadcasting Plugin. You will need a microphone (we dont want DJs who *just* play songs) and a catalogue of your music.

If you have never DJ'd before, thats not a problem, we can show you
how to get on the air.
The content is entirely upto you, however, bare in mind you represent the station and we want our listeners to be pleased with our shows. As we aim to appeal to all age groups, if your show will contain any rude or offensive material, it must be declared. We will have DJ guidelines that must be followed. This is also a voluntary post.
Without DJs, we dont have a station!

Management
We are looking for a small team of people who can assist in the management of the station. These members will include; 'Events Organiser', 'Translator', 'Advertising', and many more
to be added later.

Voiceovers
Whether you are Male or Female, young or old, we need people who can record their voice in a variety of scripts to be added to music, or to be played dry, to assist the DJs shows and the stations marketing. Eventually, we will pay (ingame) for voiceovers that we use. We do require high quality sound bites.

Music Creations
Maybe you are talented with a music program such as Fruity Loops, well, we could need you. Some small sound bites to aid the DJ and to add voiceovers to will enhance the marketing of the shows and the station. Eventually we will pay (ingame) for sound bites that we use.

The plan is for Radiomundo to be active 24/7, to have a global reach where DJs from local countries take a slot and appeal to a wider audience. Being able to utilise the time zones effectively to have prime-time music globally.

Eventually we will have an ingame company, with a management team, where company owners and artists can purchase ads on air and on the website.
The company can turn proceeds into prizes for competitions as well as sponsoring events and organisations.

We aim to keep our ads purely from ingame, purchasable with ingame currency or real life cash

This page is purely an info-sheet to drum up support. Eventually we will have a dedicated website with upto-date game information and interactive listening.

We also plan to have a small team of recommended voiceovers and soundbites, that can hire their services to companies and artists that wish you advertise with the station.
Those charges are negotiable with the voiceover and music artists.
