On this page I can teach you how to listen and record things you hear on your scanner. all it takes is about 5 minutes with your computer.
All you need is:
- 1 police/racing scanner with external headphone jack
- 1 computer with soundcard
- Scanner Recorder (it is free and I use it all the time)
- 1 male to male headphone conecter with min of 10in wire (can make on your own)
Now that you have everything you need you can hook it up.
Start by installing Scanner Recorder. Now plug one end of the male to male jacks to the scanner and the other to your PC soundcard. Turn on the scanner and put the volume to about 1/2, 1/4 and turn the pc speakers on and listen.
