Story
The starry night sky remained calm and peaceful, yet there was the sense of a creature dying. Far above, in the skies a star was dying, its rays weakining as the heats slowly faded from its substance. As its core the star took care of a tender child, wrapped in star dust and magic, cased in iron the would on hold until the child reached earths surface. The star sighed in peace, and let death come upon it like a sprinkle of water on a dry piece of dirt. Far below the the planet one who watched carefully might have noticed a black spot where a star once was, and then the strangest thing of a shooting star, heading softly towards the ground. Upon its arival, it did not hit the ground with a force to mar the ground but landed with a soft bounce and rolled to a stop, the hard iron cracking in to as if it naught but paper. And from this iron ball came a foal, as tender and new as the star had been old. It sneezed, and raised its head to its new world, its mother. Soft gold eyes took in the beautiful world around it with surprising calm. And then a stranger thing happened. The iron that had held the child melted into the brightest pools of gold, and then into a halo, shining at gold has never done. The foal, or rather filly, picked it up and placed it on her head with some difficulties. And in her small ear it whispered, "Welcome, Halo...."
The filly grew up to be a very lovely and strong mare. But having grown up all alone, Halo did not develop the social skills that most mares at her age had. She grew to distrust anyone who came near her, except for foals. For foals, she discovered, she had a soft spot, and she loved them to death. Halo wandered around earth, discovering and learning new things, but for soem strange reason, she was always elusive. The foals always found her when they needed help, and sometimes she was know as the 'gaurdian angel'. Halo only needed her children by her side to keep her company. But time passed and her children grew up and went away to start familys of there own. Halo became more and more grumpy, and snappish, having no one to care for. Often she wondered where she came from, who were her parents? She could find no answers.
Rumour passed of a herd, a herd so large and strong. So magnificent and like one large family. Though Halo needed no family, she knew that there would be children in this herd, children with no parents. Children who could be hers. As she looked to the nightskies in her desert home, she relized her destiny lay with this herd, and so there she traveled. She trekked many mils, never stopping, never resting until she topped a mountain and looked down upon the hundreds of horses. And so her adventure began there.

Friends/Enemies

-sighs- I have just met Escelip and I know not what to think of him!! I never ever talk to stallions, because they cannot be trusted...and they could hurt my children. But Esceip seems different. he says he is a ghost...but I don't know if I can believe him. But then, I doubt he'd believe me if I said I was the daughter of a star!
