Hello, USMfamilyOFchildren because when a relitive is away we all know it's not easy. You need somewhere you feel comnfertable venting, somewhere on the web to call home, please let USMfamilyOFchildren be yours
Since my brother is now out of bootcamp he is back off to training, if anyone would like to know where he's at, maybe see if someone you know is with him then I will be posting updates on that info., almost like a UMS blog. If something catches your eye feel free to e-mail, I often check atleast 3 times a week
When my brother inlisted in the Marines we both thought it would be great. He had things he wanted to do with his life that the Marines offered. He wanted to be looked up to when he returned home, an education, for everyone to be proud of him and just to prove to himself and everyone who lauged about it from the start that he could do it, man did he prove some of us wrong. But whatever the reason for inlisting, where there stationed or what rank they are dosn't change the fact that there missed when they are gone. For Marine children and siblings it's hard, not seeing your loved ones for large amounts of time. Things change, you have to understand what is really going on and sometimes it's hard, really hard. This website is here to help, there will be chats to meet other children like you with a family member in the USMC, there in the same spot you are, going through the same thing so they'll understand what your going through, hopefully taking your mind off the subject. Feel free to look around, make yourself at home, get involved with our contests and e-mail with any questions at the contact us page. Hope you enjoy

As you may already know the music playing on this site dosnt stop it repeats itself so it may drive you crazy, just scroll down to the bottom and click the pause botton it should stop, the song by the way is the Marine Hymn
Contests
When entering a contest you can only submit one answer, i repeat only one answer anymore and it dosnt matter if your answer is right or wrong it will not count, as for prizes I give out points 2 pts. per answer that is right get 5 questions right or 10 pts. As for actual prizes at the moment there are none there might be later on down the road so e-mail with some ideas, I may take them into concideration
Chat
No cussing or foul laguage in chat, I have mods and they are willing to kick, or ban you if things get to out of hand, so just dont let it happen
Be creative
would you like to write an atrical, story and/or poem about you Marine? If so e-mail it to me and it will be posted on the site were others can vote on the one they like best, the winning piece will be awarded points for a prize on a later date. Be sure to include age, name, and return address in your e-mail

There is a games page up and running, with Marine based games and others. If you have any games or cool links you think should be added to the websites "fun pages" feel free to e-mail, I will add all of have voting on witch one is the best. Everyone will be able to try a demo first before voting (so you actully know what your voting on)
