Glenariff Forest Park is situated amid the world famous Glens of Antrim, an area to which tourists have been coming for over a century. Glenariff, the Queen of the Glens, is considered by many people to be the most beautiful of the nine Antrim Glens.

RACE CANCELLED
Unfortunately in consultation with the Forestry Service and ourselves we have taken the decision to reluctantly cancel this event for safety reasons due to the inclement weather and predicted forecast. The Forest Park has been closed now for the past six days and the roads, car park and paths are all in a treacherous condition under at least six inches of snow.
Only once before in its long history has the race date been moved and we are disappointed that history has repeated itself. Nevertheless the safety of runners/spectators and their shiny cars is paramount and hope you all will fully respect the decision taken by ourselves and the Forestry Service.
We will endeavour to make refunds for those who have pre entered and also hope to stage the race at a later date when we have decided a suitable date on the local running calendar.
