Madi is an optimistic, fun-loving 15-year-old who has recently been
diagnosed with Leukemia. Her first day in the hospital, she greeted
everyone with a smile and a positive attitude. Her only complaint was that she couldn't be up running around. So we decided to run for her! We held a
5k race run in her honor on Sept. 22, 2007. With the help of many runners, sponsors, and volunteers, we were able to raise over $17,000 so far. Thanks to all who participated! Check out coverage of our race here in the Daily Herald.
