This is the 7th layout I have created from scratch and hand coded. Out of the seven, it is my 3rd CSS / XHTML layout and is, as always with my CSS and XHTML, 100% valid and compliant with the W3C standards. Please feel free to browse this site, it is fully functional.
I chose to go for the 'clean' look and finish this time. I hope I achieved this effect by using a strict colour scheme of greys for the text and bold, high contrasting images with simple colours and by making the links a slight tone darker than the text. I shall use this as my official site until I wish for further change.
Also with this layout, I have shipped my own logo, site name and motto. This over time will become my signature and online identity. On my next layout, I may have altered the logo by also adding type or further illustration.

This site is major milestone for me as it is the first ever site I have created using XHTML 1.0 STRICT as the DTD. I am pleased to say that this should hopefully be the start of a new trend for me to create XHTML pages with strict code which should enable them to be more accessible and have a more consistent view between different browsers and reslutions. It should also mean my code is tidier and also much more efficient.
