QUINTANILLA-PEREZ STUFF

Okay, we just got around to seeing the entire thing for the first time and we must say WOW! ..that was an awesome biography of selena..in fact, one of the best we've seen so far actually

finally a biography that doesn't evolve around selenas DEATH but her LIFE...
We didn't think it was neccesary to add interviews with current stars or even stars back then (like mariah carey or so) because it wasn't about either one of them...it was about selena...therfor we like the idea that they only implemented stories of her family and people that KNOW about selena and who worked with her...

Here are a few random selena/Quintanilla family facts we picked up from BioChannels biography:


- The first doctor who examined Marcela thought that Selena was a tumor instead of a baby...so thank god for Second Opinions!

- Chris and Abe really didn't get along well in the beginning, in fact, Abe fired Chris because he didn't want the relationship to continue

- Suzette was at the mall when Abe called her to say "she did it" -- when Suzette asked him: "what did she do?" abraham told her that Selena and Chris had gotten married.

- While working on "Dreaming of You", Selena was making dinner for her, chris and Keith Thomas...then Wynona Judd walked in, thought selena was a catering cook and said "can you cook us dinner while you're at it too?"... wynona was deeply emberassed when she found out selena was also a recording artist..BUT got to enjoy selenas cooking..since she made wynona and her band dinner as well

- all the people that ever said that Abe was in it for the money have now gotten their answer (because Abe declined an offer from sony - who were willing to pay double the amount then EMI Capitol.

- The reason why he declined it was that Sony already had 4 Tejano artists signed, while EMI had none.

- Selenas English coke add is completely awesome

- Keith Thomas & Selena got along really well (notice how he's almost crying at the end of the interview)
