Week of Wonders

Posted on August 3, 2010 at 9:29 PM
It's the little things in life that make the everyday routines of the workweek filled with wonders.  Lately, I'm loving...

Forest-inspired manicures.  Sewing, typing, and reading require me to look at my hands, so why not make them look amazing?  An owl ring, brown nail polish, and a real leaf ought to do the trick...

100 Classic Books for Nintendo DS.  Don't get me wrong, nothing compares to being curled up with a good real book, but I like this game because it has many books I've always wanted to read; including The Princess and the Goblin & Life in the Woods. It's so compact, portable and paperless!

Forest felt friends!  I've been trying my hand at making stuffed creatures from felt and find it easy & fun.  I've been crating lots, tying them to my purse or stringing them on a necklace...

What makes your week filled with wonders?

Love that beautiful nail-polish!

I add joy to my life in little ways, too. I find $5 can make me happier than $5,000 if I buy something I really want, like colored tights or Tinkerbell stickers.

You're so right!! It's the little things that keep the work week amazing.

I got to play with some of my young cousins this morning' they came over to my house to play. Also, the director of the play I'm stage managing showed me how to use the light board and play around with it for a while. Also, I'm learning to use a soundboard!

And I found a couple more songs that I fell in love with, especially from the musical "Next to Normal" :)

Thank you for this little shift of perspective :) Blessed be.
