Once Bitten... by Cyan Bell
Anna Le Boutillier has no idea who sent her the invitation to the Ball but has decided to become the sure, confident seductress of her dreams. Behind the masque she doesn’t have to worry about anyone discovering her secret.

Derik Harrison had expected Anna to enter the ball uncertain not the confident temptress drawing the attention of the male attendees. Derik’s wolf nature isn’t appreciative of the other men’s leers and wants to assert his dominance over her.

By Remote Chance by Taylor Voltaire
When Elaine and Thomas met many years ago in Australia each was playing a role. Now that they work at the same design firm they make a bet on who’s design a new client will choose. Can they get past the preconceptions they have of each other and accept the reality of who the other is?

Vapor by Sheri Livingston
Ashley Vaughn has made a career of writing erotic romances but her latest book Vapor is a desperate attempt to find a woman that rocked her world. Attending the Benefit Ball she wonders if the mystery woman will appear.

Vic is determined to make Ashley pay for writing about their one encounter. After years of wondering what she did right and what she did wrong, she’s ready to present her demands.

Behind the Masque is a collection of four interweaving stories by four talented authors. Each can be read as a stand-alone and the four authors do a wonderful job of connecting the stories in the Breast Cancer Benefit Ball setting.
The stories run the gamut from the traditional male-female romance to ménage-a-trois to female-female. The heat level in all four stories is high and not for the faint of heart.
With all net proceeds going to Breast Cancer Research, not only will you have an excellent book for yourself, you’ll have the satisfaction of donating to a worthy cause.

Are you a control freak? Want to be dominated? Step into the commanding world of 911 operator Paige Waddell and police officer Kellie Hamrick where things aren’t always as they appear.

Paige is secretly obsessed with officer Kellie Hamrick but when Kellie refuses to defend the honor of women and allows her chauvinistic partner Randy to demean women, Paige is racked with rage. Being a 911 operator is stressful enough as she deals with life and death issues on a minute-by-minute basis, but when she has to deal with misogynistic attitudes, not only by narrow minded men but also the one woman she dreams of nightly, Paige needs something to relieve her anger and stress. She finds an opening online in a certain playgroup.

Kellie loves being an officer but hates her piggish partner whom she’s made a devilish deal with in order to maintain her career and the honor of her uncle. Having to cower down to the obnoxious Randy and lie about his shady dealings in order to maintain her own scandalous secret is getting to her. But nothing bothers her more than knowing she can’t defend herself or the sexy Paige whom she’s got a thing for. She, too, finds relief on a certain online playgroup. Neither knows about the feelings of the other.

But what’s done in the dark always finds a way to reveal itself and when these two lives collide and secrets are revealed, many lives will suddenly be changed forever.

Watching You hooked me in from the very first sentence and wouldn’t let me go. Sheri Livingston’s writing is energetic and sensuous. I enjoyed the dialogue, the realistic characters who jump off the pages and the fast paced action. The storyline and incredible plot are added incentives. There are adventures and places I haven’t come across until reading this book but Sheri Livingston makes these transitions easy and delightful because her style is realistic and passionate. Don’t be fooled by the bondage and explicit sexual content tagged on this novel; beneath all of that is a romantic love story anyone can enjoy!

Paige is a 911 operator, a woman whose daily life revolves around stress: that of the callers, transferred to her own mind. What she needs is to relax, not to be jerked around by male chauvinists like Randy, a porky cop whose female partner Kellie is the Sergeant’s niece. An additional problem is that Kellie has caught Paige’s eye, and although Paige is as yet unaware of it, her heart as well. Paige is distraught and angry that Kellie never seems to stand up against Randy’s slurs about Lesbians, women in general, and female cops; it’s worse when Kellie appears to support him.

Then Paige’s friend and co-worker Gail lets slip, intentionally, that both Gail and Kellie hang out at an online BDSM site, and Gail urges Paige to participate as well. Gail realizes what neither Paige nor Kellie will admit even to themselves, and she is definitely not above a bit of playing Cupid, more than once. Paige gives the site a try, and soon finds out that the line between dominance and submission is more easily crossed than she thought, and now she’s just not certain on which side of the line to take her stance.

Meanwhile, Kellie’s in a boatload of trouble, in the midst of a secret powder keg that’s just about ready to explode. Her attraction to Paige, and Paige’s refusal to acknowledge her, just intensifies the stress she herself feels as she tries to walk a fine line between integrity, and protection of her loved ones. Little does she realize that Paige will be the one to light the fuse—all of them.

When this reviewer considers the topic of f/f erotic romance, the first author that occurs to me is Sheri Livingston. Once again, she never disappoints, and Watching You is a non-stop adrenaline rush from first sentence to last. I don’t think my heart dropped out of my throat the entire time I read the story, and I read it fast, feeling as if I was being jerked along behind a runaway locomotive. That’s how powerfully Watching You affected me. Sheri Livingston’s books deserve a bedtime-tale Keeper Shelf all of their own. This author doesn’t have the capacity to write a dull story; and any reader who can sit through reading Watching You, without reading it in the midst of an ice shower, is stronger than I.

“Publisher's Note: Watching You is a non-traditional romance. It contains bondage and explicit homoerotic sexual encounters between women that may offend some readers."

Dodging a controlling and cheating ex-girlfriend, Morgan finds solace in hard work. After her very bad nine-year relationship ends, Morgan has trouble getting her previous lover off her mind. She cannot believe she will ever be attracted to another woman in the same way.

Sexy female artist Shane is very lonely, but she can see no way out of her self-imposed veto on relationships. Tortured by remembered scenes of the death of her former girlfriend, Shane swears she will not let herself be hurt by love again. When she crosses paths with Morgan, Shane cannot deny the passion burning inside her for this woman.

A night out becomes so much more when Morgan meets Shane. Trying to keep their hands off each other proves difficult, but not as difficult as things get when Morgan’s demanding ex-girlfriend Dawn turns up. Confronted by Dawn, Morgan chooses to leave with Shane. However, after some torrid encounters, intimacy threatens and Shane treats her with indifference, so Morgan takes Dawn back. But Shane is the only woman on Morgan’s mind. What secret is she hiding?

In The Eyes Of Love deals with some very complex emotions and shows the human side of defunct relationships. On the other side of the coin comes a story of strength in love and friendship. The themes I loved most in this book were those of loyalty among friends and the struggle involved in fighting your way back from a controlling relationship. I also loved the supporting characters and the way the gay community is so positively portrayed. I would have liked to see the same depth applied into Shane’s psyche as was into Morgan’s. Overall, this was a very touching and real story of two women frightened of love, but determined to shed the shackles of the past.

EXTRAS!

A punchy, passionate story about Morgan, a woman torn between the lover who betrayed her, and the new woma in her life. Sheri Livingston's lesbian romance is a richly written voyage into Morgan's life, with vivid characters, dialogue that leaps off the page, and beautifully written love scenes. Loved it, this was a real page turner for me, I was right there with the characters, hanging to find out what would happen next. Much enjoyed.

Ms. Livingston's story of Morgan, her self-centered ex, Dawn, and her new love Shane kept me reading, eager to find out what happened to them, and what their secrets were. Realistic, intense emotion is coupled with some of the hottest F/F sex scenes I've ever read! The prose also contains some beautiful turns of phrase.

A heroine to love, a heroine to cheer for, and a wonderfully cruel ex-girlfriend to gleefully despise...  Author Sheri Livingston gives us all of these along with tender romance, hot sex, heartbreaking angst, and a mischevious, humorous supporting cast in her debut lesbian romance In the Eyes of Love.   I hated to say goodbye to these marvelous characters, and eagerly await Ms. Livingston's next novel.

A Red-Tainted

“In the Eyes of Love" is a story about love, courage, healing and friendship. Morgan and Shane have both loved and suffered terribly in the past, but when each saw the other, attraction sizzled between them.  However, each has to reach deep inside of her for the courage to overcome certain demons in their pasts before they can find a second chance at love and healing with each other. Morgan’s friends also played their own parts in Morgan’s and Shane’s romance, and all I can say is that I wish I have friends like Morgan’s!
