Yes, here is the long awaited update!  Also my first actually blog post on my new site.  Please excuse the wonkiness in the sizes of these pics, and be prepared for a loooonnngggg update!  If you have missed out on the previous posts on my old blogger site you can check them out at http://prosperityhills.blogspot.com  I will hopefully have the complete links up soon.

 

Here's a weird glitch. Poor baby Cappuccino was frozen.  So I deleted him, then saved and when to the neighborhood.  When I returned to the lot he was floating!  Thank goodness he went back to normal and was fully functional.

Told from Cherry's point of view for 7 days:

Hello there!  Well, I am definately not lonely anymore!  Sodapop moved in with his fiance Beth Johnsen recently and we have been pretty busy around here.

Beth immediately took over the care of Cappuccino.  She treated him just as if he was her own son.  I really appreciated it.  As a baby Capp was VERY demanding, and I need some "relaxation" time.

Yep, she even took care of the diapers!

Errr... this is an example of my relaxation time.  Soda didn't take it too well.  He is kind of mad at me... for this and other reasons (which you will find out later).  I think he expected me to change my ways while he was at college.  This reminds me!  Once the kids moved in we remodled the house.

This is my bedroom/bathroom.

The living room and our raised kitchen.  Upstairs basically has some bedrooms and extra junk, nothing exiting.

Here's the house overall.

Marisa Johnsen (Beth's stepmom, grrrr.... you'll see why later), Cola (my daughter), and Sprite (Cola's twin) are representing the "femenine" side of the guests....

And Mason (Beth's half-brother), Arie (Beth's half-sister, and a total tomboy), and James (Beth's dad, and my "lover") are representing the masculin half of the guests....  Oh yeah, we are throwing a wedding party for Beth and Sodapop!

I can't believe the nerve of those people!!  (note from thequeenofsimtopia: I actually don't understand why Cherry was mad... Marisa and James are MARRIED, she is the skank in this situation, if anyone should be mad it should be Marisa!)

Beth seemed to be pretty upset after that.  Before she wanted to be friends with me, and I with her.  After that episode she hates me.  I am actually kind of sad...  I really like Beth actually.  She was actually also quite mad at herself, it wasn't her fault though.  She is not blood realted to that slutty *&^#% Marisa!

Things calmed down.  I had to sit by Marisa the whole ceremony!  She's not even Beth's mom she doesn't deserve the seat of honor!

The wedding went as planned and Beth and Soda seemed to be oblivious to everyone except themselves.

Marisa made a real fool of herself doing the smustle!  Soda is kind of mad at James too.  Everything is/was so messed up!

I took some pictures with my eldest daughter, Cola.  Her wedding should happen really soon, *sigh*, I know this is odd (coming from me), but I kind of wich that all the kids were still at home again.

Mason tried singing, it was rather pitiful (it may have something to do with him mother being Marisa...).

Sprite was far better!  I really actually miss her, I could tell her everything and she wouldn't judge me.  She's my second daughter and is also engaged... soon I will have lots of grandkids (Sprite and Beth are both family sims!).

The lovebirds went off on their honeymoon.  The house was really quiet.  I knew it would be awkward when they returned.

And it was.  We all ate in silence.  None of us knew what to say.  It acutally kind of hurts having my son and daughter-in-law hate me.  I don't know how Cola and Sprite feel about the situation yet.  I can still count on Cappy to love me.  He knows nothing about who his father is.  Nobody else does either (including James).  I have decided to keep it a secret.  People can know about me and James' fling, but they can't know that it resulted in Cappuccino.

Note from the queenofsimtopia:  Beth and Soda were enjoying their first woohoo on a downloaded tiki bed.  It ended up looking very odd...

See what I mean??  Back to the story...

Cappuccino grew up!  He looks a lot like James, I am very nervous that someone will realize...  Anyway, there is a lot more responsibility in raising a toddler than an infant I find.  Cappy is starting to have an actual personality.

Beth took a job in the artist career track (I don't remember what level).  She seems to like work.

I have kind of started to act motherly towards Cappy.  He is very easy to entertain and seems to automatically love me.  It is a nice change from all the guys that I have to convince to love me.

He also isn't mad at me, which is pretty cool considering...

Yeah he even learned how to say mommy!  I am so good!

I certainly haven't stopped romancing!  I now have 10 first woohoos (my god this is gonna take a loonnnggg time)!

 

One night, while I was hanging around downtown, I saw The One.

I fell instently in love with him.  Yes, I know I have fallen in love LOTS of times.  But this time is REAL.  I don't want him to get hurt.  I never really card about the other guys, they were like a source of entertainment or something.  Well I care about this guy!

He seemed to be kind of attracted to me so I decided to work my fatale charm.

We got along quite well, and I had to stop myself.  I realize that I am way older than Skylar.  I look young, he must of thought I was about 25 or something, but I am actually way older, I have 3 grown kids!  That are probably his age now that I think of it...ew.  Also, I don't ever want him to hate me.  If he caught me with another guy he would be so upset.  So no romancing him... *sigh*

So, I continued to care for Cappuccino.  I had to, Beth was pretty preoccupied...

She was very exited about the coming baby.  She was huge!  I actually remembe being tha pregnant...

Here comes the baby!  I noticed she picked a very untimely time, 3:00 in the morning!

Sodapop was really mad at himself for sleeping through the birth of his child (I don't know how he did, I could here her screams in the kitchen, you think he would've been able to in the same room!).

Meet Ash Beverages!  My first grandson.... God I feel so old!

Oh yeah, Soda has a job too.  He is a SWAT leader, he wants to be a Captain Hero, just like his two sisters.

Yep, Cappy had to grow up some time!

He is also very smart.  He would challenge his half-brother, Soda, to chess games all the time.  He also loved watching sister-in-law Beth paint.

I taught him about important things, like love.  Soda and Beth were constantly creating examples!

Then, when everything was good.  I ruined it.

Cappuccino caught me with Garret.  I think he knew he wasn't Garret's son.  I told him to go wait in my bedroom, I would be there in a minute to explain.

When I was saying good-bye to Garret, Beth came down.  She was disgusted.  She ran into my bedroom and comforted Cappy.  Since then, everybody has hated me.

Except for Ash.

Ash had his birthday.

He is very adorable.

I have started to break down.  I have figured out that romancing is not all it is cracked up to be.  Sure, it makes me momentarily happy, but like a drug, woohoo highs wear off.  Then you have to face the real world.  My real world is 4 children who are all disgusted of me, all of them from different fathers (except for Cola and Sprite), a daughter-in-law who hates me, no chance of ever being accomplished at anything, and no chance of ever being with my true love.  I have nothing.

Beth chooses to ignore me, she worries about her developing baby (yep, she's pregnant again), Ash and her job.

Oh and I forgot to mention another event that just made me love life more!  Not.

Yeah, great timing burglar.

Cappy, being so smart, ran to protect the sleeping Ash, when the crazy burglar waved at him.

Cappy did come out to root for the cop.

Thank God the cop won!

The Burgalr doesn't seem to like Cappy as much anymore!

Beth seems to be stressed too.  After the burglary she was really distressed.  I remember when I was pregnant, lots of stuff effected me worse then it did when I was not pregnant.  Something to do with hormones.  Poor Beth.

Ash was even effected by the burglary.  Our whole family has fallen apart.

I have tried to turn things around.  I help out with Ash whenever possible.  Beth doesn't seem to like it, but I think she is too tired to try to prevent me, maybe she even appreciate the help, deep down.  Maybe next time you stop by we won't be such a disfunctional family.  Perhaps somehow I can pick up the pieces that I created...

Cappy got stuck with a weird tendency to snore 24/7.  It kind of scared me but he grew out of it!
