~Bovine Of Me ~ I Love Jackson

Okay, i found this site through a friend, i made one slightly similar last year but it was with school and never made the net... Anyway it is going to be about my steers and cattle and me and well just a whole bunch of assorted but relevent things. Im totally against slaughter and have lost many steers to it. I have not eaten beef sinde October 2004 when i lost my first steer, Taurus, the Poll Shorthorn... i will try and get some pics of him but im finding it difficult as i dont have a scanner and all my photos were deleted when i moved on to the senior section of my school. I attend shows and break my beautiful baby steers before im forced to give them up at the end of the show. But this hurt me so much every time, and so after losing 10 or more steers in the time frame of October 2004 to October 2005 i officially made up my mind and started on seriously planning to get my own steer which i could keep and love and train forever and never send to slaughter. 
i have achieved my goal now and now i have my own calf. His name is Jackson Shilo King, and he is my baby boy, and im his mummy! He is to date 11 weeks old tomorrow (i think) and was born on 28th November 2005, and he had a twin brother who i did not purchase but met when purchasing him, and i know for a fact that my baby is by far the cuter twin and they were not identical. i have had jackson since he was 2 and a half weeks old.He is my angel child and the current love of my life. but now, i need to go and visit him, soooo, night all.
