Description

David started his career at Arsenal where he won just about everything there is to win, in a 20yr stretch. David then decided that he wanted to try his luck elsewhere, and Arsenal let him leave on a free transfer.  This promted Leeds to make him an offer of a contract which he accepted.

Unfortunately David's playing career was cut short by injury after only ten games due to a knee injury. In September 1996 George Graham took over the managership of  Leeds, and asked O'Leary to return as his no:2 and O'Leary said yes.

In 1998 George Graham took up an offer to become Spurs manager and the Leeds board asked David O'Leary to become Leeds next manager and he as built a team capable of winning the championship, and dominating for many years to come.

Some of O'Leary's current side are included in my website.
