In The Ring: “Ford” was competed heavily during 2007 in Halter and In-Hand classes where he accumulated over $65,000 in earnings (as of May 2008). He has won numerous Championships, Grands, Reserves and Top Awards as well as multiple top placements in classes throughout the Riata show world.
”Ford” will continues to compete in 2008 as a Senior/Aged stallion in Halter and In-Hand where he has earned his RSHR ROM as well as more Championships. His life time earnings peaked over the $65,000 mark in April 2008 and we hope to see him continue to shine and win.

As A Sire: To me, in order to be considered a great sire a stallion must consistently out-produce themselves and "Ford" has done that on multiple occasions.
To date he has put down RSHR ROM winners, Show Champion winners, Top Mare of Show award winners, multiple Grand winners and multiple Championship winners. He was also the Sire of the 2007 RHHA Stock Horse Mare Season Champion & 2007 RHHA Open Mare Season Reserve Champion QHH Girl In A Flatbed Ford.
"Fords" foals have huge hips, pretty heads, loads of muscle and are sound to top it all off. He is also a proven color sire on Paint mares. This stallion has produced some stunning get and his kids are well known in the Riata Straight Stock Halter world as "Ford Foals."

He has great size, substance, colour, temperament, balance, breeding and overall quality. QHH Power Stroke Diesel or “Ford” as he is known around the barn has one of the best chests, necks and tie-ins we have at Quartex. You couldn’t ask for a nicer shoulder and amount of bone on a horse this size. He stands a stunning 16.3 just like his sire and will proudly march his way into our show string.

The Bloodline: “Ford’s” sire is our very own multiple champion Palomino Quarter Horse stud QHH Quad Cab. “Quad” has superior eye appeal and demands attention from judges and a crowd. "Quad" has proven himself in the show ring and has brought home multiple championships.
“Ford’s” dam is also a Palomino Quarter Horse with multiple championships, named QHH Twenty Four Karat. “Kay” is one of the sweetest mares I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Her temperament is surpassed only by her sound conformation and balance. "Kay" was the 2007 RHHA Stock Horse Mare Season Reserve Champion and the 2007 RHHA Stock Horse Season Reserve Champion, along with numerous other titles.
Bred together this combo produced one of the most deeply muscled, modern and correct Straight Halter Stallions on the game.
