Through deep considerations we decided to break ties with Quad City Paranormal Group and return to the way we first started. There are no hard feelings with them and hope the best for them. Maybe in the future we will join forces to help or if we need the help.

With some new members we formed ROCK ISLAND PARANORMAL  R.I.P. and as such all material is property of the group as of January 8th 2007. We feel this is a change that would benifit our group in conducting professional investigations.

Here at R.I.P. we will be conducting many investigations starting in the spring, some with other groups so we can learn and prosper. I personaly have connected myself with some very influencal people in the feild and consider them freind. we look forward to working with them.

This action was not an easy one to make, but I think it would be best for both groups. So good luck Q.C.P.G. and be careful.

Now with us we have been conducting a blog radio show, whch is located on the bottom of this page, and learning from other groups. This is an open forum for groups to share therios and ideas, which in turn may be the a good way to learn by hearing rather then reading. This is world wide to please listen and share your opinions. We will be uploading new pictures and evps in the next few days, so dont fret we aint going anywhere, just getting better.

I personally have had experiences I could not explain. I cannot say if ghost are real but I really would like to find out. Plus I would like to have evidence that would back up a personal experience that I have so I could get opinions from other investigators.

After reading many articles, seeing many pictures, and watching investigation programs on TV my girlfriend and I would like to see first hand if we could share some of these experiences. I would rather find logical explanations to strange noises, weird lights, and not comfortable feelings then look for ghost. I believe that many paranormal shows on TV are fake and are made for entertainment only. Ghost Hunters seem to be the only show that is not staged for ratings. They do not buy into the old ghost hunting methods and do look for explanation to comfort their cliental.

We are not looking to be scared; if we were we would go to a theme park haunted house. We want to find answers. Seeing may or not be believing

What is a haunting? That’s a good question. Most believe that a haunting is spiritual beings caught between here and the after life. Most occurrences are strange noises that can often be a normal not a paranormal experience. The human brain can and will play tricks on a person due to obscure environments.

Many ghosts have been dismissed to mind tricks but some can not. There are different types of hauntings. One is what is know as a residual haunting where the spirit repeat an event and knows not is happening around them. Another is an intelligent haunting which might be developed into poltergeist events. These types of haunting are the most sought after, because they will try to communicate. Demonic haunting are very rare and can be dangerous. These usually have a strange burning or sulfur smell. And pushing, grabbing or physical harm may occur.

I am still learning and have much to learn. I don’t pretend to know all and I'm open to facts and opinions.

Yes we do a podcast which is mainly a vocal forum for paranormal groups so we can all share. This does not mean that its directly and solely devoted to groups so come listen and see if you can learn how to hunt the paranormal yourself.
