Download every version of Qbasic/QuickBasic EVER MADE!!

If you want to start programming in QBasic, you first need to get QBasic. This is the version of QBasic that was freeware and came with a lot of older computers. It has no compiler which means that it can't turn your programs into ".exe" files which you can use without QBasic. You can download one of the QuickBasic versions which have a compiler below. Download QBasic 1.1

Here's some QuickBasic versions:

QucikBasic 1.0

Quickbasic 2.0

QuickBasic 2.00

QuickBasic 2.01

QuickBasic 3.0

QuickBasic 4.0

QuickBasic 4.5 (suggested)

MS Basic PDS (professional Development System) 7.0 (also suggested)

MS Basic PDS 7.1

And here's a very early version a Visual Basic for DOS (VBDOS) Its not really QBasic/QuickBasic (although very close) but I decided to put it here anyway.

VisualBasic for DOS 1.0 (Standard Version)

Visual Basic for DOS 1.0 (Professional Version)

Windows programming

QuickBasic/QBasic is nice, but it can only make programs for DOS. Now, thats not nescessarily a BAD thing, but some may want to make programs for Windows. Well, thats what Liberty Basic http://www.libertybasic.com is for. Its really nice because it has a built-in GUI editor, but if you want to access the built-in compiler, you need to buy an access code (which range in price form $25.00 or so to like, $60.00. Thats not cool. However, you can find a nice, free compiler for it floating out somewhere on the internet. I forgot where I got it. But a Google search of "Liberty Basic compiler" should help you find it. Anyway, have fun. Download Liberty Basic

Also, try JustBasic (http://www.justbasic.com/)Its secretly made by the same people as Liberty Basic, and they constantly try to sell Liberty Basic to you. But the nice thing about Just Basic is that it comes with a compiler! Cool. Anyway, don't let them fool you. Just Basic is almost as good as Liberty Basic (But thats not what they say!).Download Just Basic

QuickBasic: A complete introduction and implementation guide to the BASIC computer instruction code.

This is a series of two tutorials written by me. I only finished them the day before yesterday. it is not finished yet, I plan to add more sections later. It is really nice, although I haven't yet checked it for code errors (or spellin/grammar errors), so it may look slightly sloppy. I tried to use lots of big words to make it seem like I'm a lot smarter than you. I hope you enjoy them! download QuickBasic: A complete introduction and implementation guide to the BASIC computer instruction code.
