Welcome to clan <OS> , OH SNAP!!!
This is a clan that was started by Stupified and DaddioDan in late 2005, it was believed to finished in 2007 but is starting to come alive again!
The story starts like this, me Stupified and DaddioDan were getting outnumbered by the clans and they started to take over, now the h8 server was a war between h8 and the angels and it was too much so OS came into existence in order to balance the forces of Quake for the better of the community and there was a lacking in clans that was loose on rules and code. The idea came into fruition in early 2003 when I was messing around on a server and put the tag OS on and the meaning then was open source, meaning anyone joins while that was just joking around to see if anyone would put on the newly made tag the idea kept fresh inside my head till 2005 where it solidified into a worthy clan. In the middle of 2006 though OS nearly lost all its players except Stupified and DaddioDan and it died off for most of 2006 but it kept coming back here and there, and at one point in early 2007 OS divided into divisions such as OS2, OS3, OS27, and the like. But shortly after the OS#'s buzz ended OS become just 1 unit again but all the people stopped using the tags. Till later in 2007 OS was down and out again but it came back again with a few members using the tags once again.
The original idea for the clan was to be reminiscent of =WAP= a clan which played just to enjoy the game instead of playing out of competition reasons, but turned into a clan that wanted domination. Today the clan is a mixture of both reasons straying from the roots but maintaining its good qualities. Now OS is more of a novelty clan which makes appearances once and a while and old members get inclined to put on clan tags now and then. From now on the clan will come and go, but it will always make appearances on the h8 server while it becomes a legendary force that most clans strive for.
