Medic-552 was one of the original "50" series medic units placed in service by Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue. Medic-552 was originally ran out of Station 10, but on December 16th of 2002 Medic-552 departed station 10 and was placed in the brand new Station 20. Medic-552's call volume was increased after the move allowing them to remain the busiest medic unit in the county. Medic-552 has three 24 hours shifts with at least 3 ALS providers assigned to each shift.
