MONDAY-THURSDAY:

7:45- 9:00 a.m:  7&U, 9&U, and 11&U age groups

9:00 - 10:15 a.m:  13&U, 15&U, and 18&U age groups

FRIDAYS ONLY - PLEASE NOTE!!:

Fun practice from 9-10am for ALL age groups, with donuts afterwards! Swimmers must go to swim team practice first!

Practice for the 2009 season will begin on Monday, June 1st.

I will be communicating mostly via email this season so please be sure I have your email address and check periodically for updates and information. It has been my experience that information/updates/forms passed out at practice do not always make it home! Your email address is vital for keeping tabs on this information.

Help! I desperately need parents to volunteer in different areas. Here they are:

Lead Booster Parent:

If there is a parent out there who is organizationally gifted and feels comfortable delegating, I need you! You would be working with swim team’s booster parents who probably have a little more experience with this and coordinating our parents to help with dive team needs.

Correspondence:

Copy info to pass out to divers and help come up with a solution for prompt distribution/reply. Perhaps a folder system similar to swim team?  If so, I need a volunteer to get this up and running and to make folders.

Fundraising: 

It looks like our t-shirts will be our biggest fundraiser this year. If anyone has other suggestions and would like to run with them, I and the divers would greatly appreciate it. We need a parent to collect money and hand out t-shirts when they arrive.

I need orders in ASAP, hopefully by Thursday. There is an order form in your parent handbook which you should have received at parent orientation. I will need sizes in quickly so I can order them and they will be in quickly!

Meet Workers: 

I need someone to coordinate meet workers. We usually have plenty of volunteers but it would be nice to have a schedule and know ahead of time who is working.

Dive Team Meet Requirements

Age Groups – Determined by child’s age on June 1^st

7 & Under      2 voluntary dives (jumps allowed)

9 & Under       1 voluntary, 2 optionals (one jump allowed)

11 & Under       1 voluntary, 2 optionals (no jumps allowed)

13 & Under       2 voluntaries, 2 optionals covering 2 groups

15 & Under       3 voluntaries, 2 optionals covering 2 groups

18 & Under      1 voluntary, 5 optionals covering 4 groups

Participation

Dual Meets                           3 – 4 divers per age group

Triangular Meets                  2 divers per age group
