For this tutorial you will need the following:
•PSP (I use 7 but any version should work)
•A photograph of your choice.
(I am using the wonderful artwork of Ericka T.)
•A font (I used Waterbrush ROB)
•Tutorial Supplies-Get them HERE
(included mist tube made by me & Random010 mask)
•Toadies Ommadown-Get it Here
•Xenofex 2.0 Demo-Get it Here
•Mura Meister Cloud-Get it Here
•DSB Flux Bright Noise-Get it Here

1. Open photograph you wish to use.
2. If the only layer you see for your photo is named background you need to convert this layer to a raster layer.
3. Resize the photograph so the Height is 480 pixels.
(to do this leave the width size alone and just change height)
Resize Type=Bicubic resample> Resize All Layers UNchecked>Maintian Aspect Ratio Checked/
4. Open psp file that was included in the supplies called "mist"
5. Control C to Copy
6. Paste as a new layer on the photograph.
7. On the Layer2>Selections>Select All>Float.
8. With the mover tool position Layer2 over the part of the photograph you wish to use.
9. Selections>Invert
10. Highlight Layer1.
11. Hit delete on you keyboard.
12. Selections none.
13. Now delete Layer2.
(your photograph is now ready to use in your tag.)
14. Image>New 600 x 600 transparent.
15. Change FG color to #00FF00
16. Flood fill Layer1.
17. Selections>Select All>Float
18. Effects>Plug-Ins>Toadies Ommadown with the following settings:

19. Selections>Modify>Contract 15>Selections> Invert
20. Now hit delete on your keyboard.
21. Selections>Select None.
22. With your magic wand tool settings:
RGB Value >Tolerance 85> Feather 0
Click on the black lines. (all the black lines should now be selected.)
23. Selections>Invert
24. Now hit delete on your keyboard.(this gets rid of the green)
25. Selections>Invert>Selections>Modify>Expand 1
26. Set your FG color to #C0C0C0 and your background color to #808080
27. Flood fill your black lines.
28. Effects>Xenofex 2 Demo>Constellation>Under Settings Choose It's Full of Stars.
Where it says Background Fill and choose Keep Original Image.
29. Colors> Colorize H&S 0 (just in case some of the green is still hiding there LOL)
30. Selections>None
31. Effects>Geometric>Circle
32. Image>Resize 130% Bicubic Resample All Layer UNchecked.
33. Change the opacity of Layer1 to 40.
34. Layers>New Raster Layer
35. Flood fill Layer2 (FG color should still be #C0C0C0)
36. Mask>New>From Image>In the drop down menu choose Random 010>
Source Luminance>Invert Mask Data Checked.
37. Mask delete>Yes
38. Layers>Arrange>Send to Bottom>
39. Layers>New Raster Layer.
40. Change your FG color to #000000
41. Flood Fill Layer3
42. Effects>Plug-Ins>Mura Meister>Cloud with the following settings:

43. Effects>Plug-Ins>Xenofex 2 Demo>Constellation>Under Settings Choose Medium.
Where it says Background Fill and choose Keep Original Image.
44. Layers>Arrange>Send to Bottom.
45. Paste Your Misted Photgraph as a new layer.
46. Change FG to Black and Background to a Color from your tube (my BG color is #84242E)
47. Image>Add Borders>2 Symetric
49. Image>Add Borders>4 Symetric
50. Switch your FG and BG colors.
51. Image>Add Borders>8 Symetric
52. Switch your FG and BG colors.
53. Image>Add Borders>4 Symetric
54. With your magic wand tool>Select your the 8 pixel colored border.
55. Change your FG color to #C0C0C0.
56. Effects>Plug-Ins>DSB Flux>Bright Noise with with the following settings:
Intensity 38 Direction Lighter.(do not deselect)
57. Effects>Plug-Ins>Simple>Diamonds
58. Change your FG to null and your BG to #C0C0C0.
59. Activate the presets shapes tool settings:
Rectangle>Retian Style UNchecked>Antialias and Create as a vector checked.
60. Draw a rectangle, and pull it out on the sides to the thin first border, zoom in so you can see better if you wish
(Look at the sample for placement.)
61. Convert Layer1 to a raster layer.
62. Effects 3D>Drop Shadow with the following settings:
V&H 2 Opacity 50 Blur 5 Color Black.> Repeat but change V&H to -2
63. Change the opacity of Layer1 to 40.
64. Change your FG to the color you used for your border that matches your photo and your BG to #C0C0C0
65. Activate your font tool with the settings:
Width 1> Size depends on length of your name>Auto Kern Checked>Vector and Antialias Checked.
66. Stretch your name to fit in the rectangle.
67. Objects>Align>Horizontal Center in Canvas.
68. Convert Layer2 to a raster layer.
69. Effects>3D>Drop Shadow with the following settings:
V&H -2 Opacity 100 Blur 10 Color White.
70. Effects>3D>Drop Shadow with the following settings:
V&H -2 Opacity 100 Blur 10 Color White
71. Effects>3D>Drop Shadow with the following settings:
V&H 2 Opacity 50 Blur 5 Color Black
72. Layers>Merge>Flatten
73. Resize to your liking (remember bicubic resample)
74. Add the artist © and your watermark.>Save a a jpeg.
