PureSky Dachshunds

We started in 2003 with a black and tan Dachshund mix as a pet, and fell in love with the Dachshund side. In 2005 after more experience with Dachshunds, I obtained my adored friend, Shelby, a miniature red longhaired girl. I began showing Penny, my second longhaired Dachshund in 2007 and in 2008 Penny bore her first litter of puppies.

It is quite a beautiful, enduring, loyal breed. I have never known loyalty, versatility, comical antics or anything likewise until I owned a Dachshund.
