Desktop Remote Support Software

HP servers I found are the best servers to work with with dell coming in a close second. I've installed and configured IBM servers too but not as many as of late. So to be fair, they may rank number one or number two.

Desktop support is easy for Dell and hp but for servers I think that HP's support is much better both on the hardware and peripheral side and for software support. Although dell uses the same service tag system as their desktop, I find that HP's online support and driver download availability is more in depth. From drivers to live tech support they perform better than dell. Although HP, Dell, and IBM offer their own support services for their desktop and servers and in software instances they have web based remote support. Although they can access and connect to servers and desktop using web based remote software there are often times that support personnel cannot help some systems because the errors on the systems may prevent access to the internet. Undoubtedly, not withstanding a computer's inability to connect to the internet, desktop remote support software is revolutionising the tech support industry. Without the internet, web-based remote support using the internet as the networking backbone to reach these system often creates a problem when trying to connect to using web-based remote support software which operated by streaming the remote computers desktop screen, keyboard, and mose movements. Many server vendors provide another method for connecting to their customers systems to provide online web based pc remote support on the web . This option for remote support may not be offered for their desktop but often is available as an option for their server systems, mostly the higher end platforms. Desktop systems will more foten have the classic and widely available desktop remote support software for access and support that's dependend on the web being available. This additional methods for connecting to the troubled server (or servers) allows their help-desk to continue to provide customer support even though the internet connection may not be available.

This method for remote access support, though not widely used in corporate networking and IT infrastructure environments was once the premier method for connecting to the other data-centers to upload information, and that is dial-up internet access. This won't be a connection to the web as we are familiar with but a direct connection to the server or in some cased the desktop that is having trouble. It allows support staff to at least be able to provide the remote support and assistance required to the customer when in the case normal connectivity to the web is not available.
