This four piece heavy-rock band, The Cracklins bring to us an independent debut EP. They have lots of talent and their influences range from a wide variety of bands such Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, The Misfits and many other rock bands. Instrumentally they sound like Grinspoon and even have a bit of a punk sound. Their music is so hard to fit into a category, they don't sound like any band I have heard before. They have a bit of humour in their songs and some really catchy rhythms, 'Night People' having one of the catchiest choruses on the album. With songs like 'Moth' and 'Night People' I see The Cracklins getting more recognized over the next couple of years and maybe even breaking out of the underground.
