They live in San Diego, California USA .  When they aren't touring
 

About the Changed Name- 
In the beginning blink 182 was just called  "Blink". But after a while it turned out that there was an Irish band with the same name, and threatened with legal action if they did not change their name.  That's when the "182" part comes in. Many people thinks that the "182" part has a real meaning behind it but it really doesn't mean a thing.   Blink-182 has said in various interviews that "182" was just a random number added on.

How did they meet- 
Through mutual friends ... they hit it off ever since 

Where blink 182 went to school- 
Mark did not live in San Diego when he was in high school. He wentto Burroughs High School in Ridge crest, California. Scott and Tom did go 
to Poway High School, though Scott went to Wooster High School in Reno, 
Nevada for a year.
