A bit about us, and inside the Guest House and Cottages!

 

 

Owned and operated by the great-nephew of philanthropist

 Cyrus Eaton and his artist wife, we are located across

 from the Eaton estate, home of Cyrus Eaton and the first

 Pugwash Peace Conferences.  The fully equipped housekeeping

 cottages are behind the main house, and can accomodate

 several groups.

Our peaceful, private herb and sculpture gardens have

shady as well as sunny places to relax and watch the boats come and go in the

harbour. We offer several private picnic areas and the beach is less than a minute's

 walk away.  Eaton Park, grocery and liquour stores, shops, the bank, cafe and

post office are within close walking distance as well.

          The Rooms

 We offer a room for every pocket!

In the New Light Housekeeping Cottage,

refurbished just this spring, we offer several choices.

  This Cottage can be rented as three individual rooms

 or else as an entire house.  It is a "Light Housekeeping"

Cottage, meaning that each room has a private bathroom

 yet shares a common kitchen and two sitting rooms - 

one with televison/vcr/dvd, as well as a wonderful wicker

filled sunporch with a view of the river and it's spectacular sunsets.

All rooms are filled with vintage and antique furniture, art, and local crafts.

  Room 1 is a double room with a queen-sized bed, a water view 

and it's own private bathroom.

                                                                                                                                                                               

 

Room 2 is also a double Room and has it's own

private bathroom and water view.

                 

  The romantic air-conditioned two room Suite, located

 on the ground floor, has a sitting room with gas fireplace

and a small sofa that opens into a bed as well as it's own

 private bath.  The bed is queen-sized with a new pillow-top mattress.
