Kerning
Kerning allows text to be spaced or close together. It's really easy and it makes text look better.
Close-together text:
You get your closed-together text by having kerning at the negatives. When you click your text tool (
) and you look at your settings bar above, you should see "Kerning". Uncheck the "Auto-Kern" and put -110 (or any number in the negatives) to make your text close-together. The lower the number, the more it will be close-together.
Spaced-out text
You get your spaced-out text when you make your kerning in the positives and higher than zero. Don't go above 10 because text is too spaced out. Look at your settings bar above, you should see "Kerning". Uncheck the "Auto-Kern" and put -100 (or any number in the positives higher than zero) to make your text spaced-out. The higher the number is, the more spaced out it will be.
