Image Mapping Tutorial

Note: This tutorial only works for people who have Jasc PaintShop Pro. You can download the 30-day trial anywhere, though. :] Also, if you can't see the picture very well, click it. :D

Start: Open up Paintshop Pro.


Have your picture you are working with ready. (Click picture to enlarge)


Now, go to File, Export, Image Map. (Click picture to enlarge)


Next, a box should appear. The picture above shows all the buttons we should be using throughout this tutorial. (Click picture to enlarge)


Now, click the fourth picture under Tools and draw a square over the place you will be image mapping. Then fill the boxes below with the information it will take it to. (Look at the picture to see what to write) -->(Click picture to enlarge) Continue drawing squares in which you will image map.


Now, we are almost done. So the quality of the picture will be good, click Optimize Image like I did. (Click picture to enlarge)


Now match my settings. Click color to edit. Go from "Standard" to "Optimized Octree". When you are done editing click the eyeball which will take you to a page online. Now exit out of the Image Mapping and save your original picture.(Click picture to enlarge)


Now go back to the page on the internet with your picture image mapped. Right click and put "View Source liked I did. Now look at the picture, and where I put the pink box in the code, put the code of the original picture. Paste this on your site. Now on your site and it should be imagemapped.(Click picture to enlarge)

Your finished product. Click, and it should take you to places.
