Step One

Have your image ready. You can use mine, but I warn you that Mort is a studmuffin and my husband.

Step Two

Now get your pen tool (

) and and adjust your settings to mine:

Step Three

Now go to your color palette and make sure the second color is transparent. You do this by clicking what is underlined green in the picture below. Like below, instead of the color in the second box you should have an X.

Step Four

Now begin to outline your image. It should first look like this when you begin:

When you're done it should look like this:

Step Six

Go to Selections>>Select None.
