Christina Anderson, Executive Director

Christina is currently in her seventh year as Executive Director for the Chorale. She is one of the Chorale's co-founders and held the position of President of the board from 1996-2003.

Christina is a 1989 gold cord graduate of Centennial High School in Pueblo. While she was at Centennial she was a member of the choral program, under the direction of Ken Butcher. During her senior year she began studying through Associated Schools, Inc. in Miami, Florida to become a flight attendant in the airline industry. When she married her husband, Mark, in 1991 her career path changed and she focused on music. Working for Eastern Onion Singing Telegrams out of Denver, Colorado for 5 years was one of the highlights of her career. She appeared on many television programs, and sang for the first passengers to arrive at the DIA airport in 1994. When her son, Dane, was born in 1994 her career path shifted again to focusing on children. Between 1995 to 2002 she taught music education at 2 Pueblo Christian schools, and was involved in getting the Pueblo Children’s Chorale started in 1996.

Christina has been involved in many Pueblo organizations through the years including the Pueblo Choral Society, Damon Runyon Repertory, Miss Teen/Jr. Teen Pueblo, and Miss Pueblo pageants. She truly enjoys being involved in her community and supporting Pueblo’s youth.

Her love for children and the music that they make week after week is what inspires her to continue her work with the Chorale. She loves how far the Chorale has come in the last 13 seasons and the accomplishments that have been made. She looks forward to watching the Chorale grow through the years and seeing graduates from the Chorale go on to do great things in their musical career.
