What is the Republic of Trumania?
The Republic of Trumania is a territorial nation of 42 acres on Vashon Island, North America. We are held together by order and peace. Our primary goal is to attain the reputation of being a dependable and friendly nation in the international community. We allow our citizens the right to choose who is in government and to participate in that government, without taxation. We believe in loosely-based yet orderly government where our citizens are free to live in any part of the world.
Is Trumania an actual state?
We believe that Republic of Trumania is, in fact, an actual state. The Montevideo Convention stated:
The state as a person of international law should possess the following qualifications: (a) a permanent population; (b) a defined territory; (c) government; and (d) capacity to enter into relations with the other states.
The Republic of Trumania fits these requirements. It has a permanent population. Although the majority of citizens are non-residential, we do have a number of citizens that live in Trumania. Its territory is defined. It is agreed that the Principality of Trumania is indeed 42 acres. The borders have been measured by licensed contractors, and clearly marked. Trumania is Trumanist Republic fulfilling the government requirement. We have an Assembly, established laws, and a constitution. Lastly, we have the capacity to enter into relations with other states. We have formed an alliance with the Republic of Molossia as well as made our presence known in the international community.

How do I register as a citizen of Trumania?
Simply complete an application form and give it to a Ministry of Immigration official. Your information will be confidential. It is reviewed and if correct, it will be approved by the Immigration Committee. The Chancellor and the Premier have the power to veto any and all applications if they find that the applicant is not suitable.
