                            Parent Compact 2008 - 2009

I agree to the following conditions towards the maintenance of my seat at Capital Prep. So that  I may continue to attend The Capital Preparatory Magnet School I will

  1. Purchase an entire school uniform and require my child to wear it every day. I understand that the Capital Prep uniform includes a blue crested sweater or blazer, a white crested button down  shirt, the school’s tie (for boys), khaki dress pants (no cargo are denim) and/or school kilt,  for girls), a black belt with a reasonable buckle, blue knee socks for girls wearing kilts, and black dress shoes with a reasonable heal, no sneakers of any type nor boots. I also understand that the uniform does not include jewelry. The only acceptable accessories are a watch and metal knob earrings that are smaller than a pencil eraser.

  1. Purchase the supplies listed on the instruction supplies list.

  1. Attend at least five (5) school sponsored events per year this includes, but is not limited to PTO  meetings, community service events, sporting activities, co-curricular clubs, school activities, trips, school visit such as classroom observations, open houses, and et cetera.

  1. Sign all bi-weekly progress reports and communicate with my student(s) academic advisor via  phone or email at least twice per month, which means returning missed called or emails.  If I do not receive a bi-weekly report from any of my child(s) six (6) teachers or do not receive a call or email from my child(s) advisor, I will communicate this to administration immediately.

  1. Provide my child with a quiet learning environment in which they can complete their 2 to 3 hours of homework each evening.
