These powerful warriors have pledged themselves to the Night Elves in order to defend Farenhras. They are tough for early game units and a valuable frontline asset to the Night Elves. Furbolgs' thick hide can be evolved to deflect some damage.

|
Furbolgs have the ability to evolve a very thick and resistant hide. Once evolved, the Furbolg will take reduced damage from attacks. In addition, the hide's natural resistance will negate a spell targeted on the Furbolg every 45 seconds.

Furbolg Shaman

|
Reclusive beasts of the wild tha have a strong bond with nature and its living things, these druids practice magic to safeguard their homeland. By drawing on nature and wild animals, they are able to augment their allies.

|
Furbolg Champion
|
|
|
The most powerful of the wild furbolgs, these massive beasts are seen as leaders. Their physical strength and weight, combined with their relentless rage, makes them formidable and often feared warriors. Some are even able to focus their fury into a mass burst of energy.

Owlbear
|
|
|
The ancient descendants of both the Great Owl and the Great Bear. Owlbears share the bloodlines of both ancient creatures. They engage in battle with their massive claws and ear-splitting screeches. Owlbears are also able to evolve with traits of one of their ancestors, but not both.

Path of Bear
|
|
|
The Owlbear evolves with the strength of the Great Bear, giving it a 15% chance to deal 15 bonus damage on attacks. In addition, Path of Bear gives the Owlbear the ability to steal life on attacks, returning a portion of health.
Path of Bear cannot be researched if Path of Owl has been researched.

Path of Owl
|
|
|
The Owlbear evolves with the wisdom of the Great Owl, giving it a 15% chance to dodge an attack. In addition, Path of Owl gives the Owlbears the ability to reflect damage they take from attacks.
Path of Owl cannot be researched if Path of Bear has been researched.
